Adlibris has acquired Akateeminen Kirjakauppa Oy (Akateeminen), Finland’s second-largest bookshop chain, as of 1 January 2026. Akateeminen has been part of Bonnier Books since 2015 and is now owned by Adlibris.
Akateeminen operates four physical bookshops in Helsinki, Espoo, Turku and Tampere, as well as the online store akateeminen.com. Adlibris operates both online and physical book retail operations across the Nordic region.
