Carbon Offsetting Projects

As explained in our Climate Strategy, emission compensation took a back seat to increased investment in reducing emissions – a shift from paying for what has been done to increase investing in what needs to be done. Nonetheless, climate compensation has been a part of our initial strategy and the list below shows the projects we supported last.

In general, we invested in nature-based projects, such as forest conservation and afforestation, as well as renewable energy initiatives aimed at building alternative and renewable energy infrastructures. All projects were preselected by South Pole, were audited and certified under Verra (Verified Carbon Standard) to ensure high quality and credible carbon credits.
